YORKSHIRE-NORTH

North Yorkshire is England’s largest county. Much of the county is rural, with the Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire Moors being notable geographical features. York (pop. circa 198,000) is the largest town in the county, followed by Middlesbrough and the spa town of Harrogate. York is in fact England’s second most visited town after London.
