Improving your home?

Financing Home Improvements

Every year thousands of people across the UK choose to improve an existing property.  Spurred on by the increase in DIY and home improvement television shows more and more people now have the confidence and know-how to embark on such a project.  The rising costs of moving house have also prompted people to stay in their existing home and spend their money improving or extending it rather than paying high stamp duty costs and solicitor fees.

Deciding on the best way to fund your project can be daunting but this is where BuildStore comes in.  We are experts in home improvement finance and we can offer a range of funding solutions from all of the top lenders as well as exclusive products not available elsewhere.  Whether your project involves light cosmetic work or larger scale structural changes then we can find the best finance to suit your project.

Your finance requirements will be different depending on if you are buying a house to improve or if you are improving your current house.  Click on the options below to find out more about the ways you can finance your project.

You may have to pay an early repayment charge to your existing lender if you remortgage.

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.

For self and custom build mortgages we charge a fee of £295. £95 is payable on application
and £200 on offer. For all other mortgages we charge a fee of £395, which is payable on offer.
